University and course selection for study abroad

The single decision that determines your cost, your visa odds and your career. We build the shortlist around your profile, and we tell you when a course is not worth its fee.

The short answer

We build a written shortlist of six to eight courses across three brackets, ambitious, likely and safe, from your marks, budget and the job you want afterwards. Each option comes with its total cost in rupees, its entry requirements and its post-study work rules. It takes about three working days and costs nothing.

Why do most shortlists go wrong?

Most students arrive with a list assembled from rankings, cousins and Instagram. It usually contains two universities they cannot get into, three they are overpaying for, and none that match the job they want afterwards.

We start from your profile instead, and we say so plainly when an option is wrong for you.

What should decide your shortlist, if not rankings?

Three things decide whether a course is worth it: whether you can get in, what it costs in total, and what you can do with it afterwards. Rankings answer none of them directly.

Post-study work rules now differ sharply by country and by course. A UK master’s started in 2026 leads to an eighteen-month Graduate visa, not two years. A Canadian college diploma earns a work permit only in eligible fields. An Indian master’s graduate in Australia gets three years. We put those rules next to every option so the comparison is honest.

Figures checked 24 September 2026 against GOV.UK: Graduate visa; IRCC: Post-graduation work permit, eligibility; Home Affairs: Temporary Graduate visa. Rules change, so confirm them yourself on the day you apply.

What is included

Student profiling

Marks, backlogs, gaps, work experience and English scores mapped against real entry requirements.

Ambitious, likely, safe

Six to eight courses across three brackets, so you always have an offer in hand.

Total cost per option

Tuition plus living plus visa, and what the loan repayment looks like against likely starting salaries.

Outcome check

Graduate employment data and the work-rights rules attached to each course, neither of which a ranking will tell you.

What we do, and what you do

We

  • Read your marksheets and CV, and tell you honestly which bracket you are in.
  • Match courses to your marks, budget and career aim across the countries that fit.
  • Cost every option in rupees, including living costs and visa fees.
  • Flag the course-level rules that affect work rights afterwards.
  • Sit with your parents and go through the money.

You

  • Bring your marksheets, degree certificate or provisional, and any test scores.
  • Give us a realistic budget range, including what a loan could cover.
  • Tell us what you want to be doing three years after you graduate, even roughly.
  • Make the final choice. The shortlist is advice; the decision is yours.

Mistakes we see most often

Choosing from rankings alone

A top-100 name on a course that does not lead to the job you want is an expensive detour.

Ignoring the total cost

Tuition is often less than half the bill. Living costs and the visa funds decide whether the plan is affordable.

Assuming last year’s work rules

Post-study work in the UK and Canada changed in 2024–2027. Check the rule that applies to your start date.

Applying to too few places

Two applications means one refusal can end the year. Six to eight across three brackets keeps an offer in hand.
