About Linking Overseas

A small study abroad consultancy on Montieth Road in Egmore, Chennai. Three consultants, one office, and a founder who still takes the first meeting with every student himself.

Short answer

Who is Linking Overseas?

Linking Overseas Education Consultancy is a study abroad consultancy in Egmore, Chennai. Its founder, Mansoor Ameen, has advised Indian students on studying overseas since 1999 and opened the practice in 2012. Three consultants help students choose courses in the UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, the USA and Dubai, then apply, fund the degree and get the visa, free of charge.

Our story

Mansoor Ameen began advising students on studying abroad in 1999. In 2012 he opened Linking Overseas in Sindur Plaza on Montieth Road in Egmore, and the practice has worked from there ever since.

One of the students he helped that year was Anne Carol, who went to the UK for an MBA and built a career in HR. Years later she came back to the same office to choose a course in Canada, and completed it. That kind of long relationship, rather than a single transaction, is what the practice is built for.

It has stayed small on purpose. There are three consultants, so the person who builds your shortlist is still the person answering your call when the visa decision is due. Mansoor still takes every first consultation himself, because the shortlist is the decision everything else rests on.
