Who is responsible

Linking Overseas Education Consultancy, Sindur Plaza, 2nd Floor, Montieth Road, Egmore, Chennai 600 008, Tamil Nadu, India, is the data fiduciary for personal data you give us through this website, by phone, by email or on WhatsApp.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number, and, if you choose, a destination, a study level and a message.
• Profile evaluation: your name, email, WhatsApp number, the level you are applying for, your academic average band, your budget band, your preferred destination and your English test status.
• When we advise you: the documents you choose to share with us, such as marksheets, test scores and financial documents, which we need to prepare applications, loan files and visa files.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to advise you and prepare your applications. We use it on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a form or contacting us. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with universities, lenders or anyone else without your agreement for that specific purpose.

Who else processes it

• Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox by email.
• Vercel hosts this website. Its analytics count page visits and enquiries without cookies and without identifying you.
• Google Maps loads on the contact page only if you press “Show map here”, and Google may then set its own cookies.
• WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.

Some of these providers store data outside India. We use them only for the purposes above.

What your browser keeps

While you fill in the profile evaluation, your answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so a refresh does not lose them. They are deleted when you submit or close the tab. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are advising you, and for up to two years after our last contact, so we can answer questions about applications we filed. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent at any time, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to chennai@linkingoverseas.com or call +91 44 4269 6555. We reply within 30 days.
